Former Palace restaurant chef and current Calori creative chef, Jesse Kakko, is entirely responsible for the development of the meals. Our meals are prepared by chefs in our kitchen, currently located in Espoo Nihtisilta.
We ensure the accuracy of calories and macronutrients through a careful and multi-step process. First, the recipes are developed by our skilled chef team. After that, we perform precise calculations of each meal’s macro- and calorie content to ensure they meet the set nutritional goals. When it’s time to prepare the meals in the kitchen, we use scales to measure the exact weight of all ingredients according to the recipes. This precision in our kitchen ensures that the final food portions do not contain too little or too much food. Each meal is carefully portioned to provide just the right amount of nutrients.
Remove the protective film and heat the meal in the microwave for 2–3 minutes. Meals should be stored cold at a temperature of 4–6 degrees Celsius. The durable containers are microwave-safe. The meals that are meant to be heated will have an image of a microwave on the sticker. Note: the clear plastic containers for meals meant to be eaten cold cannot withstand high temperatures, so we do not recommend heating them!
All meals last about 4–5 days after the delivery day! Shelf life is taken into account in the menu, you cannot select a meal past its expiration date. Best before date is also informed on the sticker of the container.
The round plastic containers can be recycled with plastic. From the cardboard containers you must first remove the plastic cover. It should be easily removed, if you scratch from one of the corners. Recycle the cardboard into cardboard recycling and the plastic cover either into plastic or mixed waste.
All new orders are made in the app. Download the app, complete onboarding and select your meals. You will be notified when your meals are deliverable from your nearest Wolt Market, and then you can order a 1-hour delivery.
You can cancel your Calori subscription any time from your Calori Dashboard. Cancellation applies to the automatic renewal of the subscription. If you wish to cancel a paid week, please contact our customer service. The paid week must be cancelled by the previous week Wednesday at 14:59. All orders lock on Wednesdays at 3pm after which we are unable to make any changes to them.
Next week orders close on Wednesday at 3pm. If you wish to have meals next week, make sure your order is created and paid for by the deadline Wednesday 15:00. Orders created afterwards will be delivered the week after next.
We automatically charge the payment for the next week’s order every Tuesday, provided that your subscription is active and the next week has not been paused.
We accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and UnionPay as payment methods. Paying with the ePassi lunch benefit is not yet available in the mobile app — support is coming soon.
Not yet — the ePassi lunch benefit isn’t available in the mobile app, but support is coming soon. Once it launches, you’ll be able to pay up to 70€ of your weekly meals with the benefit.
We automatically charge you for the following week’s order every Tuesday, provided that your subscription is not paused or cancelled. If the payment fails, our system will automatically attempt to charge you again within 24 hours. If the second payment attempt also fails, your subscription will be cancelled. If you have enabled push notifications, you will receive one in case your payment fails. If your subscription has been cancelled after two unsuccessful payment attempts and you would still like to continue your subscription, you will need to place a new order. Unfortunately, we are unable to reactivate a cancelled subscription.
We deliver the weekly meals twice a week, Sundays and Wednesdays. We deliver your meals to a Wolt market, from where you can order your delivery to your home within the delivery hours! You can place the delivery from your Calori Dashboard by clicking Home delivery. There are always two delivery days. You can order the first delivery of the week either on Sunday or Monday and the second delivery either on Wednesday or Thursday. Delivery hours vary depending on the Wolt Market and you can check yours outside of delivery days from your Calori Dashboard.
As soon as you know you won’t be home to accept the delivery during the delivery hours, please contact our customer service. Ordering the delivery within the delivery hours is the customer’s responsibility, but sometimes we can figure out a solution to this issue.
